Thank you everyone that helped pass our levy on 11/5/13. We appreciate your support!

Park Levy Information: The levy was for the renewal of the Park District’s .4 mill levy and will provide funding for park operations for a 10 year period. The cost of this levy is approximately $12.25 per year for each $100,000 of your home’s appraised value. The 2013 levy will provide funding to operate current and future park facilities such as:
• Maintain facilities – playgrounds, Community Center, hiking trails and paths, shelters and athletic fields.
• Target and acquire land to preserve as open space and park land.
• Plan and develop new parks and trail systems.
• Provide administrative services, volunteer opportunities, and publications.
• Develop and conduct year-round educational and nature programs.
This overview is intended only to provide information about your Park District’s levy.
