Maintenance Department:

Seasonal Maintenance Technician I 

This position will perform a variety of tasks which include but are not limited to mowing & trimming and general park maintenance. Approximately 32-40 hours per week. This position requires availability from May/June 2018- August/September 2018. Schedule includes occasional evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be 18 or older with a valid driver’s license.

Seasonal Maintenance Technician II

This position will perform a variety of tasks which include but are not limited to mowing & trimming and general park and facility maintenance. Approximately 32-40 hours per week. This position requires availability from March/April 2018- October/November 2018, Monday- Friday 7:30 to 4:00 and several evenings, weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be 18 or older with a valid state driver’s license
  • Secondary education and/or experience working in park maintenance, landscaping, turf management, or other related required
  • Strong organizational skills, leadership, and communication skills required

Program/Camp Department:

Summer Program Assistant

Bellbrook Sugarcreek Park District is seeking a “Program Assistant”. The Summer Program Assistant’s duties include leading and coordinating activities, games, arts/craft projects for nature camps, summer camps and park programs. Assist at various special events, program setup needs, with approximately 20-25 hours per week.  You must be 18 years or older and have reliable transportation to apply. You must be available Mondays - Fridays, May 14, 2018 – August 18, 2018, including 4th of July week, with occasional nights and/or weekends. Experience with children, as well as CPR and First-Aid certification are preferred.

Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children ages 4-12 and adults
  • Planning experience, strong organizational skills, leadership, and teamwork skills
  • Computer literate
  • High energy level
  • Be willing to work outdoors
